Less is More - recipe challenge with wire card 2

I decided to enter another card for the Less is More recipe challenge this week to make a CAS (clean and simple) card using wire - real, stamped, stencilled etc.

I've always loved stamped images of birds in silhouette resting on telephone wires, but I don't have a stamp for that. So I decided to hand draw the birds and wires instead - eeeek! I used my Derwent Graphik Line Maker 0.3 pen and a black Sharpie. The card base and first layer with sentiment are both linen effect cardstock. The final layer is watercolour paper with Distress Inks in Peacock Feathers, Picked Raspberry and Spiced Marmalade.

Thanks for stopping by, and if you want to play along with the Less is More challenges each week be sure to check out the blog here.

    1. Thank you very much! It was fun (but scary) drawing them... one of them just kept getting fatter and fatter lol. I thought it was appropriate that the wire seems to be sagging under him! x
