Less is More OLC challenge - geometric shapes

The challenge over at Less is More this week is to make a one layer card (OLC) featuring geometric shapes.

Here's my first card.

I used one segment of a stencil from The Crafters Workshop (TCW143) and blended Distress Inks through it in Broken China fading to Tumbled Glass.

I then used a background stamp, Specks from the Cracks & Specks set from Stampers Anonymous, to add speckles while the stencil was still in place.

The sentiment was stamped in Broken China from the Hero Arts Color Layering Orchid in a Pot set that I won back in February (thanks LIM and Tara!). This set is proving really versatile.

Finally I rounded the bottom corners with my X Cut corner punch.

If you want to join in with the Less is More weekly challenges, check out the blog.

Thanks for stopping by!

    1. Hi Chrissie, thank you! It's a teardrop curve, and although I couldn't tell you which equation produced this exact shape, I reckon it's closest to the lime green line: http://mathworld.wolfram.com/TeardropCurve.html
