I thought I'd do a second card for this week's challenge over at Less is More. We're creating a one layer card (OLC) featuring splatters. Cards also have to be CAS (clean and simple)!
For this card I used alcohol inks blown into splatters with a drinking straw. I masked a greeting beforehand but, as I feared would happen with glossy cardstock, the inks crept underneath! A few coats of white on top restored the colour and the crisp edges.
Ilford Premium Photo Paper (glossy)
Alcohol Inks in Raspberry, Clover and Pebble
Altenew 'thanks' die cut from Post-It Notes (full adhesive) for the mask
Posca white paint pen
The challenge closes on Friday at 10 pm BST so there's still plenty of time to take part. Why not take a look at the inspiring Design Team creations and entries so far?
Thanks for stopping by!
