For my third (and definitely last!) card for this week's Less is More challenge, I wanted to make something really quick and simple - the sort of card you could rustle up in a few minutes as a thank you card, or a 'thinking of you' note.
I created a card blank by scoring and folding a piece of linen effect cardstock. I used the medium curve die from Lawn Fawn Stitched Hillside Borders to take one edge off the card. I opened the card and stamped a single splatter stamp from the Stampers Anonymous Tim Holtz Collection Bitty Grunge stamps (CMS089) using Tsukineko Kaleidacolor in Cappucino Delight for an ombre effect. I re-inked the very edge of the splatter stamp and added a few extra small splats here and there. Finally, I used two of the Clearly Besotted 'A Little Sentimental' stamps ('Handmade' and 'Just for you') and curved them on the stamping block to match the curve of the die cut card edge. They were stamped in Versafine Onyx Black, and I added the hyphen and exclamation mark myself.
I love how the splatter stamp looks like a cow print!
Be sure to check out the other entries - there are some wonderful creations in the gallery! And if you want to join in with the weekly Less is More challenges, take a look at the blog.
