Less is More week 301 - purple and gold

Hi LIMettes and welcome to another week with Less is More, the clean and simple challenge blog! This time, we'd like you to make cards featuring the colours purple and gold. I think this is a really versatile palette for different occasions so I'm looking forward to seeing your entries.
I'm focusing on Christmas cards again as I have so many to make!

But first, a big thank you to this month's sponsor, the awesome Seven Hills Crafts!

They stock a huge range of American brands that can be hard to get over here so do go and check out their online store and prepare to be wowed!

  1. Super stunning makes as ever Esther and I'm literally swooning over your gorgeous arrangement of winter accessories in the photo. Your bold pop of gold from the happy die in that second one looks perfect against the delicate purple wreath. Adding the little strip of dsp and the stitched border edge is a lovely touch too - great attention to detail. Have a great week. Sarah x

  3. Drooling over that sensationally delicate leaf with the watery background Esther! That is a piece of awesome heat embossing there and it is lovely to see a longer shaped card too. The 'happy' die cut looks almost as if it is made out of metal on the second card. Brilliant! Love it! Well, looks like you have got your Christmas decorations out already and they make such great props for your photos. Have a fantastic week xx

  8. What a beautiful leaf made a delightful card. It was you LIM shown sample that drew me over it is just so joyful. Thank you Esther for all you do with LIM you are usually the first to comment on my entries, even before you joined the official team. Your comments are always considered and reflect the work being shared. You go to such great lengths and it is always appreciated I should say that more often. Thank you

I know how much time and thought goes into making a card so the DT appreciate each and every person who generously puts that time into entering our challenges and keeping our LIM family vibrant and thriving. 12. Esther I believe I have you to thank for organising my winnings from the previous 300th challenge, thank you so much. x
Thanks for the visit today also. Who knew gold went so well with purple, I always tend to put it with silver. A super challenge again. Loving both of your cards, the first one....love the water colour behind your leaf,
The second one.....loving the pop of gold sentiment with the wreath of purple, a great idea.
Enjoy the coming weekend and happy crafting!

    Hugs Erika. x
